Join the Planned Parenthood Action Fund!

Courtesy of my good friend, Bubbsie, he posted this article, Using Sarah Palin for Fundraising, Planned Parenthood Nets $760k in Donations in comments.

I dragged my ass to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund to donate. You can donate as little as $5!

If you missed it, read the Life begins at rape... just ask Sarah Palin yarn. HelenWheels just posted a kick ass yarn about "Mooselini's" shotgun wedding here. JDC just launched a poliblog here. And Frannygirl alerted us to this dish Sarah Palin's 1984 Miss Alaska Pageant Video, Swimsuit Competition.

((UPDATE)) Unrelated, but probably the most shocking thing I've read in a long time: by Keep it Trill Chasing HIV for Benefits. Run. Read. Now.

Katie, dahlink, I just read Keep It Trill's post, and it broke my heart. Today, we are poised for an unprecedented bailout of Wall Street, giving sole power to Henry Paulson over a lot of money. Meanwhile, the poor are reduced to chasing HIV to get benefits. What is wrong with this nation?

First, the terrific news: You know that e-mail everyone's been sending around, encouraging people to donate to Planned Parenthood in the name of Sarah Palin? So far, it has yielded $802,678 in donations from over 31,000 people, from all 50 states, two-thirds of whom are first-time donors. Thank-you notes to Palin, care of the McCain campaign headquarters, will begin going out next week.

This was handled very nicely as a NOT-Palin gesture.

Katie, DAHLING thank you so much for the hat tip! I am just SO appalled at all of Ms. Mooseburger's horrid doings. Marrying off her child the second she turns 18 for political gain. Charging women for rape kits. OMG, where does it ever end?

What a monster. Earl I'm so glad to hear that!! What a wonderful thing for PP and a big fat message to Palin.
